Reiki is a holistic energy medicine developed in 1922 by a Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui.
'Rei' means Spirit and 'Ki' means life-force energy in Japanese, and through placements of hands on different parts of the body, it tunes up recipients' subtle energy bodies with the cosmic consciousness.
